As I remember the Plaza faded along with Willingboro’s economy so the option was to renovate the Plaza or Build the Burlington Center well its obvious what the choice was and now both Places are about to be History.
Good times……My dad owned ‘Gold’s Stationers’ which then became “The Stationery Store”. Willingboro was such a great town to grow up in and then bad times fell on it, mass exodus of some really great families, and then Plaza went downhill as a result.If I had a chance to hold time still during my life, my childhood in Willingboro, growing up in Country Club…well, that surely would be on the top 10. From drive bys, I see that the town is trying to rejuvenate…I hope they are successful!
