Another chance! 1926 Silent Film “Romance of Riverton” – Then and Now

Miss this engaging program the first time? By popular demand Borough Historian Roger Prichard is bringing back this scene-by-scene program – one night only.

If you’ve seen the charming 100 year-old film and wondered “where was this scene taken?” or “what does this look like today?” then this program is for you. We will also talk about the stories of some of these long-gone townspeople in the film and where they lived.

We had a full house last time so come early to be assured of a seat. Tickets are just $5 at the door, students are free.

This exploration of a local film on its 100th birthday is another event this year to celebrate Riverton’s 175th birthday.

  1. Hi,
I was just wondering if there is a way to purchase a download of the “HISTORY OF RIVERTON” movie ? I’m a born and raised resident that has lived away from Riverton for over 20 years. I saw this movie as a kid in the upstairs of the firehouse in the late 70s ?
I’d love to see it again.
    Thank you
    G.WOOD
