I did find someone who had pictures of my house when it faced the lake with courts on it. If you like I can send them to you just need an email.
There’s an article from the Phila. Enquirer with a rendering of the future courts on the newton lake. The property was bought from the Edward C. knight estate by the Collingswood Tennis Club. Apparently the goings on there were a big deal in its time. They had circus there and other events. The club played Rutgers university , according to a written article. It also had a. a board of directors. This is my house 1 lakeshore dr. Not in knight park. My house had two addresses back when my parents bought it. The title I found says 323 N. Newton Lake Dr. aka 1 Lakeshore Dr. different address when the front facade was reversed. The reason I think we are number 1. Weird I know but do have the pictures. Lisa
I have not seen any pictures on here of the tennis club at collingswood around 1912. I have owned or occupied this house since 1963. No mention of it anywhere. But I have the picture and the deed back as far as the knight family. Thank you. Lisa

Where may I find micro film about the old newspaper in the 50’s? My grandparents lived on Eldridge Ave. My grandfather Charles E. Nichols nephew was a great baseball player in the 20’s and made the paper many times.

I had my picture taken on the library steps as a winner of an environmental contest 1969-1970. I can not find any information on this.
